StageBuilder Pro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our web application at stagebuilder.pro (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication). If you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google.
Profile Information. During onboarding you may optionally provide your full name, professional role (e.g., Audio Engineer, Lighting Designer), and company or organization name. This information is stored in your user profile.
Stage Plot Data. Any stage plots you create and save are stored in our database (Supabase) and associated with your account. Plots you work on without an account are stored only in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
Usage Data. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized information about how visitors interact with the Service, including pages visited, session duration, and general geographic location (country/region level). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.
Technical Data. We automatically collect standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs. This data is used for security, debugging, and service improvement.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not serve targeted advertising.
User accounts and saved plots are stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure. Supabase encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest. We apply row-level security policies so that your data is accessible only by your account.
Plots created in guest mode (no account) are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete guest plots.
No security system is impenetrable. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We use browser localStorage to store your current plot and application preferences (e.g., grid size, view mode). We do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) for session tracking; you can opt out via browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We retain your account information and saved plots for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and saved plots within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
